Things to do at Flatiron Hotel
Bordered by Greenwich Village, Chelsea, Gramercy Park and Midtown, the Flatiron District is an up-and-coming neighborhood of hip restaurants, upscale boutiques and scene-to-be-seen nightspots. It’s also home

Union Square Park

Union Square Park, situated in the heart of the Flatiron District and Gramercy Park neighborhoods, is the hippest, outdoor gathering spot for New York City local and tourists. Met Life Tower

The Met Life Tower, also known as the Metropolitan Life Tower, was the tallest building in the world when it was built in 1909. Situated on Madison Avenue in Manhattan, the Met Life Tower today is among the most recognized skyscrapers of New York City. Of the tower’s most famous distinctions are the four-story tall clocks on each side of the building and the lighted spire that remains illuminated after the rest of the building’s lights have turned off. New York Penn Station

Penn Station is the major rail transportation in New York City. Owned by Amtrak, Penn Station is also the busiest Amtrak station in the country. In addition to Amtrak trains, Penn Station is a hub for New York City subway lines, Long Island Rail Road, and New Jersey Transit. Macy's

Comprising nearly an entire city block at Herald Square, Macy’s department store is as much a New York City landmark as other famous New York buildings. Macy’s New York is a National Historic Landmark showcasing exquisite Art Deco features and one of the only remaining wooden escalators in the country. The annual, and much celebrated, Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade was started by Mr. Macy in 1924. Not only is Macy’s department store a world-class shopping destination, but it has played an important role in American pop-culture such as the backdrop of the classic holiday film Miracle on 34th Street. Herald Square

Herald Square is found at the intersection of Broadway, Avenue of the Americas (6th Avenue) and 34th Street in Manhattan. Named for the former Herald New York newspaper building once located here, Herald Square today is a bustling retail corridor and home to Macy’s flagship store. An enduring feature of Herald Square is the giant mechanical clock that was constructed in the 1890s.

The Javitz Center

The Javitz Center is the premier New York City convention center for hosting major exhibitions, conventions, and trade and consumer shows.
